5052 aluminum coil is an aluminum alloy composed of 2.5% magnesium and 0.25% chromium. It is considered to have good workability and weldability. The fatigue properties of this aluminum are excellent, with limits of 115 MPa in the H32 temper and 123 MPa in the H34 temper.
Like other aluminum alloys, this metal has excellent thermal conductivity and low density. To harden aluminum 5052, cold working can be used. Heat treatment cannot be used to obtain higher alloy strength.
