The difference between 1060 and 1070

1. Chemical composition

The chemical composition of aluminum plates 1070 and 1060 is different. The aluminum content in 1070 aluminum plate reaches 99.7%, while the aluminum content in 1060 aluminum plate is only 99.6%. In addition, 1070 aluminum plate contains 0.2% silicon, 0.25% iron, 0.04% copper and 0.03% manganese, while 1060 aluminum plate contains 0.25% iron, 0.05% copper and 0.03% manganese. 3. Ductility and plasticity

The ductility and plasticity of aluminum plates 1070 and 1060 are also somewhat different. 1070 aluminum alloy sheet can have good ductility and plasticity after proper processing, and is suitable for occasions that require a high degree of bending and forming. The hardness of 1060 aluminum plate increases after cold rolling. Although the ductility and plasticity decrease, it still has better ductility and plasticity than other aluminum alloy materials.
