Heat Treatment The alloy does not respond to heat treatment except for the annealed “O” temper
Forging The alloy can be hot forged without difficulty.
Heat Working If necessary, heat working is easily accomplished.
Cold Working Due to the good ductility in the annealed condition, this is an ideal alloy for cold working. It can be cold formed by bending, drawing or spinning.
Annealing Annealing may be required after severe cold working at 650°F for a time sufficient to allow thorough heating, followed by air cooling.
Hardened Hardened by cold working only.
