3003 alloy is an Al-Mn series aluminum alloy and is the most widely used among all anti-corrosion aluminums. It is moderately strong (higher than pure aluminum). Although it cannot be heat treated, it is easily welded and its strength is usually increased by cold working.

It has high plasticity in the annealed state, can be deep drawn or spun, welded or brazed, and has good corrosion resistance during cold working. It is one of the alloys with good machinability.
