1. Chemical composition
The chemical composition of aluminum plates 1070 and 1060 is different. The aluminum content in 1070 aluminum plate reaches 99.7%, while the aluminum content in 1060 aluminum plate is only 99.6%. In addition, 1070 aluminum plate contains 0.2% silicon, 0.25% iron, 0.04% copper and 0.03% manganese, while 1060 aluminum plate contains 0.25% iron, 0.05% copper and 0.03% manganese. Therefore, the difference in chemical composition leads to differences in the material properties of the two aluminum plates.
2. Hardness and strength
The hardness and strength of aluminum plates 1070 and 1060 also differ. Since the aluminum content in 1070 aluminum plate is higher than that of 1060 aluminum plate, 1070 aluminum plate is softer than 1060 aluminum plate. At the same time, 1060 aluminum plates are usually cold rolled during the production process to improve their hardness and strength. Therefore, 1060 aluminum plate is more suitable for applications requiring higher hardness and strength than 1070 aluminum plate.

3. Ductility and plasticity
The ductility and plasticity of aluminum plates 1070 and 1060 are also somewhat different. 1070 aluminum alloy sheet can have good ductility and plasticity after proper processing, and is suitable for occasions that require a high degree of bending and forming. The hardness of 1060 aluminum plate increases after cold rolling. Although the ductility and plasticity decrease, it still has better ductility and plasticity than other aluminum alloy materials.
4. Conductive properties
There are some differences in electrical conductivity between 1070 and 1060 aluminum plates. Because of its high purity, 1070 aluminum plate has excellent electrical conductivity and can meet high requirements for electrical conductivity. Although the 1060 aluminum plate has higher hardness and strength, it is slightly inferior in electrical conductivity.
5. Corrosion resistance
The corrosion resistance of aluminum plates 1070 and 1060 also differs. Due to its high purity, 1070 aluminum plate has good corrosion resistance and can meet some occasions that require high corrosion resistance. After cold rolling, the 1060 aluminum plate has the recommended corrosion resistance due to the protection of the aluminum oxide layer on the surface.

The prices of aluminum plates 1070 and 1060 are also different. 1070 aluminum plate has high purity, relatively high cost, and is more expensive than 1060 aluminum plate.
